Hey there guys! It's been quite long since the last time I updated. As you guys know based on my previous posts, I am a University student and having online classes. Well, let me be dramatic for a few moments. My first semester itself was a bit tiring because of this pandemic. We had to go to the campus then switch classes online and then stayed home. Staying at the campus was kind of cool nevertheless the safety and health are crucial. So, now as I am in my second semester, which I find even worse sometimes, is tiring as well. The last sem I felt the tiredness physically due to travelling but this sem I felt mentally tired. Sometimes it feels as giving up on everything will be a good choice. Now STOP!!! STOP that kind of mentality.
I am a student too! Online is as cool as we think so but mental health is important. I know you find that grades are important which I won't deny. However, you have to take a break! Yes! You heard me correct. TAKE A BREAK every day! So, what is it like taking a break every day? I heard from you.
What I meant as a break is, at least an hour of rest!
1. Sleep well. If you have morning classes, you better sleep earlier. Stop doing extra works and get some sleep unless the due date of the work is around the corner.
2. Listen to soothing music. Go for melody and fantasy kinds of music! My personal suggestion is DARK FANTASY music. Dark fantasy doesn't mean you're evil or becoming worse. It's just another genre which shows you what is darkness. Without darkness, you won't know the value of the light!
3. If you have time, read books or novel. Just leave your factual books aside and grab that dusted fiction book that you promised yourself that you would finish it last year. Spare some time for books! A reader lives thousands of lives where a man who doesn't read just lives one.
4. Watch short films or cartoons. This might sound weird but trust me, the ideas are really cool. Even nowadays when I have my breakfast or lunch, I will watch cartoons with my mom. My mom's and my favorite are Powerpuff girls and Totally Spies.
5. Exercise at least 10 minutes a day. Once you start, don't stop halfway! The goal is to become healthier, not thinner.
6. Make sure the brightness on your devices is low!
7. Finally, grab a notebook and write down whatever you feel. Don't read it back because you're not checking grammar or doing an exam. Just express everything and close it. If you want to keep it private organize your place well.
